Our program provides a nurturing, child centered environment. This environment will develop a child’s creative, social/emotional, physical, cognitive and spiritual growth. They will learn to be self-confident thinkers, problem solvers and valuable contributors to the community and the world. Our quality team of educators will engage the children in nurturing interactions and use positive discipline methods for problem solving. Play is the child’s way of learning and through it they will build skills for future school success. We will help build the foundations for reading and writing readiness, science, mathematics, creative arts and music.
Our year is filled with lots of activities and special events. We plan many field trips during the year including the fire station, the pumpkin patch, the Coast Guard Station, and more. Our special events such as our Halloween Party, our Preschool Christmas Pageant, and our Older Preschool Mother’s Tea are always a big hit. Through this all, we build community for our families and children that last well beyond the preschool years.
Through our half day program, children are given the skills they need to be successful with their peers and heading into kindergarten and beyond; while still enjoying a schedule suited to the needs of a young child. We build bonds and skills that last a lifetime.
